Musk is a risk taker. The antithesis of those bureaucrats in government. Another reason to abhor him. Most people in government have never made an independent decision, only by committee. Which side of that chasm were the founders of this nation? We have an old saying in the private industry that works with the Feds. When you take away someone's rice bowl, there will be trouble. I feel no empathy having changed jobs multiple times in my career when the macroeconomic or company balance sheet factors were heavy. Being laid off stinks. Cowboy up and face the real world bureaucrats. You will be better off for it.

I find it quite humorous all the hand wringing over bureaucrats losing their jobs with the Space X Chief vilified as the culprit. Very ironic because in my high school high level American History class 50 years ago we were reading about the Space race between the Soviet Union and the USA. The Soviets beat us as our first two space rockets blew up on takeoff. A journalist wrote at the time “our space rockets were like civil servants….they won’t work and you can’t fire ‘em.”

The real reason they hate Musk (and Trump) - they realize that their days of slurping at the Federal trough of endless money are coming to an end. The legacy media is collapsing and the elimination of their Federal grift will hasten their demise. Musk is a beacon of sunlight exposing the Swamp for what it is - a collection of dishonest grifters stealing money from the taxpayers. As they say, sunlight is the greatest disinfectant available, and the government is in dire need of disinfectant.

Predicting that the ring of counties around Washington D.C. will soon see big drops in real estate prices.

I vividly recall being there just after the Great Recession in 2008 and observing packed restaurants, shops, etc.

I pray daily for Trump and Musk. The Demob is not above anything, even suicide missions, to stop them. Trump's shooter and the New Orleans terrorist are classic examples of the Dem Mob (underworld, mafia, substitute term of your preference) lashing out in panic. They're all FILTHY rich yet claim to be "for the people. " my ass.

So true. They spend decades funding the bio weapon Covid, and when it was finally released it only bought them a single election.

Well said. I have always thought Trump needs his own personal guards, not government ones like secret service…also the FBI can be compromised. Clearly they HAVE been in the last administrstion.

He should probably have some Mossad agents protecting him. Trump is the most valuable ally Israel has in the world.

The best thing about Musk’s band of computer geeks is that they in fact don’t know a damned thing about what they are forensically tearing apart! All they do is pull the data and ask for explanations, publicly - what a freaking concept!. Having worked around USAID during my years in Africa, I have no doubt they are nothing more than the operating/ financing arm of clandestine CIA operations. Anyone who decries the efforts of DOGE are in on the scam - Democrats and Republicans alike, and there are both!

Don’t forget one of the most prominent apostate Democrats from American history: the union leader who endorsed Harry Truman in 1948, but eventually switched parties in the 1950s and got elected to statewide office twice before running unsuccessfully twice for national office. And then he won, twice:

Ronald Reagan.

" the deep down reason they most abhor Mr. Musk is that he is an apostate" He is actually a man of ideas to return America to foundational principles...ideas like these require the ability to desire freedom for all and actually be able to implement them in meaningful ways. Musk does that. Great piece here.

Musk is the Einstien of our day! A wealth of rich and wonderful ideas! Let's celebrate his willingness to sa rifice for our country...not engaged in the name calling the Dems are using! Have you seen such irony as OAC calling Musk an idiot?

Such good points. I wish everyone knew these things or at least were open to reading information of people that have been portrayed as bad. A major problem I have seen from friends and family is they do not get this information as they only watch the bias news outlets and truly believe they are getting the truth. Opening discussions asking them questions that don't put them on the defensive is key so I'm always thinking how to get them to see what has been happening. News sources and political parties have created such a hatred that its hard for truth to get into their brains I thought for sure this information would start leaking into their news sources but I don't think it is. NPR, MSNBC, New York Times, CNN, ....are still filtering information from the little bit of research I've done.

Elon Musk is a protagonist in a post-mortem Ayn Rand novel, a wellspring of creativity and industry beset by Lilliputian bureaucratic beetles burrowing deeper into the fed money manure pile to escape his Mensa forensic auditors'. Trump in the arena knows the pleasure of hearing the lamentations of Fauxcahontas and Gasoline Maxine as their moneychanging tables tumble down the marble steps.

Nothing intelligent to add to your read, except that it is taking painfully long for the media to catch up and start reporting the truth. Maybe I'm a bit too optimistic, but still, facts are facts and if they keep reporting those non-facts that slice across their throats is only going to get deeper and deeper. We've waited patiently for four years for the truth to be made public and it's time has come. Watching the dems come unglued is really entertaining, but I hate to watch adults make complete fools of themselves, especially those that we have chosen to lead.
