I am not sure how voters who were very committed to RFK will react. Same for traditionally Republican voters who were in the "anybody but Trump" camp---both minorities to be clear but we are talking about a national election being decided by less than 100,000 votes.

Here is what I think about RFK Jr. I disagree with him on some of his thoughts, opinions and the policies to get there. However, I think if he and I sat down we could have a very rational objective discussion and come away both liking and respecting each other and at the same time finding a different solution than he started with.

I also very much appreciate his humanity, and that he seemingly brought his real person, his real self, into his campaign. He wasn't a staged puppet like the current Democratic ticket.

I cannot imagine how hard it was for him personally to buck the peer pressure of his family given their political and ancestral history. That tells me a lot about his confidence in himself, and the comfort he has with himself in his own skin.

In the early 1990s, Republicans moved very far to the right on many issues. They were nanny state like and as a Republican, it was very uncomfortable. Using government the way many of them planned to use it partially paved the way for Bill Clinton. Since 1996, Republicans have held the White House 12 years. Democrats 20. Republicans have woken up, realize government isn't the solution. andThe Democrats have moved very very far to the left now and as Roger wrote, seemingly resemble the Communist Party. Will RFK wake up the Democrats? Or is it too late?

I listened to the Kennedy speech in the middle of a pasture looking south to the Mexican border. Those of us living on this edge know full well the implications of an open border that will potentially transform our American security forever. Our dilemma will now be your dilemma. It is that fact that I sat immersed in Kennedy’s words. It has been too long since inspiration and hope tickled the back of my neck, but it happened yesterday. He emerges as the son of American ideals that his predecessors often missed with the views from the American frontier. Good for you, Mr. Kennedy. You have struck a chord of immensity.

The Democratic party and legacy media have both conspired against RFK Jr in a manner that can only be described as abysmal. In addition, it is very reminiscent of how both groups (as if there is any daylight between the two) have conspired against Trump. If the DOJ wanted to investigate a conspiracy, that would be a good place to start. Except, of course, that the DOJ is hip deep in it.

I have been skeptical of RFK Jr because his thoughts on vaccinations seem at times a little kookie. But my God, if they're accurate, we have another major conspiracy on our hands. (My own experience with "vaccinations" for Covid is that I have had four and still caught the pestilence.). I remain agnostic about the suggestion that vaccinations have caused an uptick in autism, but if correlation equals causation, the numbers are damning.

RFK Jr's support for Trump suggests to me that more than a few people on both sides of the aisle are fed up with what has become of the Democratic party. I take that as a positive sign, because I believe the Democrats are in the process of being captured by Marxists and are heading toward the Venezuelan experience. Don't think it cannot happen! So let's listen to Kennedy and not just write him off as delusional. Trump and Kennedy make a curious couple: both appear to have left the Democratic party. I hope it is symptomatic of an awakening of sorts and more Democrats will follow their lead.

Another excellent contribution, Flier! FWIW, I took the first two shots only because I wrongly feared I wouldn't be allowed plane travel, then rejected everything and took zinc, quercetin, C and D ever since. I never got COVID, not even a cold. Who knows? But it's certainly worth investigating.

Yeah -- about those shots: I took the first for exactly that reason: I needed to be able to fly and work, and couldn't without a piece of paper saying I wa among the anointed. I took the third and fourth out of an abundance of spinelessness. A family member, OTOH, avoided all that MRNA mislabeled as a vaccine, and is still sneaking around pretending she's been shot. Injected. Infected. Whatever.

The story of my infection is not without it's own curiosity. I took my granddaughters to Prague and Rome this summer, thinking they needed at least a truncated version of the Grand Tour. Prague was delightful. Rome was unbelievably crowded. And it was there, I believe, after having escaped a pickpocketing attempt on a very crowded Roman subway, that I apparently did not escape infection by The Virus in an even more crowded tour of the Sistine Chapel Museum and Gift Shop (as you can't escape the latter when you do the former).

Two days after my return I was felled and remained bed-ridden for almost two weeks. Having suffered the effects of the infection, I can understand why people cling desperately to the hope that a dose of MRNA can prevent the scourge of the plague. It was like something out of the Dark Ages.

Now I am preparing to take my annual seasonal flu vaccination and wondering if I should have another MRNA variant at the same time. Like you, I have more faith in Vitamins C and D, with zinc thrown in. I even contemplated digging the horse wormer out of the horse medical box, but decided against that.

When I lived in Nevada several years ago, a contractor I knew swore he lined his immigrant labor up every Monday and squeezed an inch of horse wormer out on their index finger, and they dutifully licked it off. No time lost to The Virus. True? If you knew the man, you would not doubt him. But the label on the box says it is not for human consumption. Cheaper than MRNA vaccination, and possibly more effective.

I would gently suggest sir, that you need to do a bit more research on your own instead of relying on what the MSM might be feeding you.

Why in the hell would you want to take another jab from a technology that appears to show more detrimental effects versus positive results?

One minor correction. The DNC HAS been captured by the Marxist elite. Complete capitulation.

I considered writing that as I was composing, but decided to err on the side of caution. I was probably wrong.

Once again, Roger has articulated what I think I think. It's all up there in my head, much of it perfectly illogical but undeniable and, for me, impossible to articulate in a comprehensive format. He saves me the trouble of composing my thoughts to share with friends and family. I can simply share his.

He is a true patriot-----and that is supremely refreshing in these days where there is blatant lying from the Left------not just an occasional lie-----everything is a lie and they are not in the least bit clandestine about it. The most disturbing aspect of all of this is that there is a segment of our civilization that swallows the lies hook, line and sinker-----whether because of stupidity or evil intent. One cannot call it misinformation because reality has a way of slapping that argument into tomorrow, as evidenced by a trip to the grocery store (unless you are a recipient of the welfare state). All that one need reconcile is the fact that this country has plummeted into the pit of obscurity and ruin during the last 4 years with a total destruction of our sovereignty, our economy, our world standing, our institutions of governmental organization with weaponization of many, and the legalization of crime. History will not be kind to us in documenting the destruction of our once glorious Republic where Integrity was still desirable and not anathema. With the paganization of our civilization, the moral foundation has allowed us to fall under the auspices of the forces of evil....and that is all too obvious in where we are----especially when we see the chariot of Planned Parenthood destroying human beings outside of the DNC under the guidance of Malach..Judgment is coming to this land if we do not repent and take control of the Beltway because our land of milk and honey is way over the edge into the pit of Hell....so pray for more like RFK, JR. and God's help because we are on the precipice of an existence that will be very painful and eye-opening.....in my humble opinion.

Very well said! Time to quit using "incompetency". They are extremely skilled at their many forms of warfare.

The Walz choice tells us that they are unconcerned about the election. That should concern us greatly!

How apt that you not his the sole voice decrying our national health--at a time when Comrade Kamala and her Chinese Cheerleader shriek that Donald Trump would destroy Medicare in favor of private insurance. Robert Kennedy has railed against the Covid Mafia and its lockdowns--witness Walz' paintball army while he flew down to Florida. The power of the man who spoke out to Charlie Rose against the tsunami of lies pushing the Lone Nut/Magic Bullet state execution of his uncle, the obvious underhanded removal of his father at the threshold of electoral victory--and to speak against the firehose of lying propaganda regarding the Fauci impersonation of Mengele as Xi Jinping chuckled and two thousand mules shuttled. It is very right and meet that this man should join forces across the conservative-liberal chasm to save the Republic, based as it is on freedom of speech and the consent of the governed. Schumer warned the intelligence community can get at you six ways from Sunday--and it's high time it is thrust into the dock to answer for it. Time to hang together before we all hang separately.

Bobby Jr would make a good President in the right time. This isn't it. Bad times call for strong men, and these are the worst of times. DJT is the only candidate who can right the course of this sinking ship. Yes, I mixed metaphors intentionally.

Jr’s speech was extremely powerful and honestly depicted what has become of the Democratic Party. It is truly amazing to see that the Republican Party is basically the Democratic Party of the 80-90’s, and today’s Democratic Party is straight up Marxist. Anyone who says they will not vote for Trump, or vote at, fully deserves what will transpire if Harris wins.

Once again, you write the truths! I believe that RFK Jr is definitely a patriot. By example, he’s shown democrat voters that the democrat party is no longer the party of his father or uncle. I think, given what he has experienced: refusal of the dnc to allow him to get on numerous city and state ballots, turned away 3 times when he requested Secret Service protection, and a snub to even answer his calls. Over the last couple decades, Kennedy has shown that he has much knowledge about the state of our country’s health and other important issues. Kennedy’s endorsement of Trump is an excellent example or “working across the aisle” to get the people’s work done.

For the first time I am proud of a Kennedy. RFK Jr has put our country before personal power, the first person in his family to ever do so. Historically, beginning with his grandfather, it has always been about power and money.

In his eloquent first speech in Arizona (not at the Trump rally) yesterday, RFK Jr. said:

"My dad and my uncle made such an enduring mark on the character of our nation not so much because of any particular policy, but because they were able to inspire profound love for our country and to fortify our sense of ourselves as a national community held together by shared ideals. They were able to put their love into the intentions and hearts of ordinary Americans, and to unify a national populist movement of all Americans — of Blacks and Whites and Hispanics, urban and rural. They inspired affection, love, high hopes, and a culture of kindness that continue to radiate from their memories." - https://robertfkennedyjr.substack.com/p/why-i-am-suspending-my-campaign-for

I remember the popular song "High Hopes" being part of the JFK campaign, and I'll bet that phrase echoed in the memories of others old enough to remember. Kennedy also said he still endorses the political principles embraced by JFK and RFK. This is what is missing from the Democrat Party today.

What is missing from the Republican Party today are a couple of things I value highly. One is JFK's commitment to separation of Church and State, which he announced in his famous Houston campaign speech. RFK, Jr. also supports abortion rights through viability, which now makes him one of the most nationally visible Trump supporters taking this position publicly. That may not reinforce the votes of GOP stalwarts, but it's important to many of us independently registered. Independents, pro-choice Republicans, and Democrats uninspired by their party's leftward drift will decide the upcoming election depending on if and how they turn out to vote.

I always thought his candidacy would extract more votes away from Harris than Trump, so his withdrawal makes me nervous. I guess we'll see what happens November 5th.
