Disappointing that the price of gasoline at American pumps is the determining factor as to whether the barbarians obtain nuclear weapons. I am hopeful (although as a hemi-Irishman, like Yeats neighbor one tends to be sustained by an abiding sense of political tragedy) that Trump is doing all this sudden change from his normally healthy default to crank up the economy for the midterms, after which he will go back to bombing the bad guys - especially Hezbollah. In the meantime one hopes Mossad and CIA are arming sane Iranians. Vance I’m not so sure. He was on Megyn Kelly’s show recently. He may be going for the antisemite vote.
I am somewhat encouraged by popular movements in several European countries to push immigrants out, although whether or not they'll actually leave Europe or merely resettle in a neighboring country is still unknown. At the very least there is an effort to prevent permanent residency in Europe. Imagine what influence they might have in their birth country if they were to return after having seen Paree.
Its over. There is simply no way this is a ruse. I don't believe it and neither do the Iranians. He stopped Israel from finishing off Hamas and created a fake peace and he is doing the same thing now. And if Israel refuses to leave Lebanon we will get more of what we got this week.
Given my reading of this post, suspect my comment will not be well received but here goes. “Israel, which was on the verge of finishing off this monstrous organization, has been restrained in the midst of the current confusing and opaque negotiations with Iran”. Along with black fatigue, between the Mark Levins &/or the Glenn Greenwalds, you can add Israel fatigue.
Israel has a right to exist &/or defend itself, which it has been very adapt at doing over these past 75+ years. Point being, like the blacks, quit waiting for permission. The reality is, like it or not, Vance is not that far off the mark. The US, or more specifically THIS president is about the closest/only-est friend, of consequence, Israel has. Count Milei all you want in that circle, but not sure what is going to get you. If Israel wants Hezbollah destroyed, then destroy it - what is stopping them? Tell Trump to take a hike. But diplomacy by backstabbing will only serve up an island from hell. I trust that Trump is making the best of an impossible situation &, if not, then so be it. I elected him, not Mark Levin. I have no love for Iranians, nor the Middle East, nor Islam, but until humanity is wiped off the face of the earth, or the first/second coming of the Messiah, whatever Trump does is fine by me.
Thanks. In watching the blowback to the victories of the DSA candidates in NYC I couldn’t help but catch Joe Scarborough’s comment that the one person to “blame” for the victories was Bibi, not Trump, Bibi. Hard not to see the handwriting.

This has nothing to do with Israel except the fact that both Trump and Vance thoughtlessly spread lies that they know are lies just because the Iranians are pushing back on Israel's attempt to stop Hezbollah from making Northern Israel uninhabitable. I couldn't give two craps if you have Israel fatigue.
This is about Trump starting a war, winning it and then surrendering the gains for no reason whatsoever.
You never disappoint when you write because you always share the facts and truths so that we get a clear, concise picture of what is happening in our country and in other parts of the world. I don’t think I knew that obama protected the terrorist hezbbollah murderers. And I am really tired of waiting for our President to take action against these monsters. I know he desperately wants peace. We all do. But there’s no way any peace agreement will be enforced by terrorist murderers who live to rid the world of every Jew and most westerners. The sooner this fact is understood as truth, the safer the world’s nations will be. May G-d keep Israel safe from these terrorists until the world wakes up to this truth.
