Defund the Antisemitic International Criminal Court (Updated with good news)

Nuremberg in reverse ...

The old joke was “The Germans [or the Europeans] will never forgive the Jews for Auschwitz.”

These days you might insert the Associated Press, the New York Times or your pick of legacy media outlets, not to mention the equally antisemitic UN and the vast majority of its members.

Now, most of all, you can add the International Criminal Court (ICC) that just issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity during the Gaza offensive.

As a kind of cover not to seem wildly biased, they issued a warrant for Hamas military leader Mohammed Deif, who most assume is no longer with us.  (Go figure!).

However, they issued no warrant for the equally dead Yahya  Sinwar—is he jealous-- who launched the Oct 7 massacre of Israelis including deliberate rape murders and beheaded babies, not to mention female hostages fondled naked in the Gaza City streets in front of salivating crowds of Jew-hating locals. 

(An exaggeration?  Not slightly. This has all been documented extensively on horrific videos.)

It’s always worth remembering that Israel gave Gaza freely to the Palestinians, then under the control of the Palestinian Authority, in 2005, only to have Hamas take over, throwing recalcitrant PA members off roofs and teaching children from the age of three to hate Jews.  They even learn to count by how many Jews they kill, physics by the trajectory of bullets aimed at Israeli soldiers.

And yet the people at ICC refuse to acknowledge the Israeli Defense Force has lead the world in actually attempting to avoid civilian casualties, something that has been rarely done in history.  The US Army has learned from their techniques.  Their adversaries do the opposite, usually aiming at civilians first.

WHERE’S KHAMENEI?

Curiously missing in these warrants from the ICC is the man by far most responsible for all the endless violent mayhem and death in the Middle East—Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Hosseini Khamenei.

He is not even listed as an unindicted co-conspirator by the moral narcissists at the ICC, yet it is he who has financed and orchestrated the near-constant aggression by Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, plus myriad-ever-changing terror groups in Iraq and Syria with the sworn goal of destroying the state of Israel and everyone in it, evidently including Muslims because Iran’s missiles  and drones make no distinctions.

He also turned viciously against his own people three times in recent years during mass democracy demonstrations, incarcerating and torturing the protestors, often in Tehran’s notorious Evin Prison in manners that would put Dr. Mengele and the Nazis to shame.

One method used was to have guards rape women the night before their death sentences were executed and send evidence of the deed to their families, so they would know, according to their Shia belief system, their daughter would not go to heaven.

I am not sure to the extent that particular atrocity is still practiced, nor do I know that they still hang homosexuals from telephone poles, although documentary evidence is still available all over the internet from the days before AI.

But I do know that we have heard not much, if anything,  from the ICC regarding the behavior of the Islamic Republic of Iran , although we do have a lengthy (and extremely fawning) 2021 letter from the IRI to the new president of the ICC that contains the following:

“Madam President,

The Islamic Republic of Iran, as the signatory of the Rome Statute, notes the recent developments related to the Role of ICC in situations of Afghanistan and Palestine. With respect to the ICC Prosecutor’s decision to confine the investigations

in the situation of Afghanistan to crimes allegedly committed by the Taliban and the Islamic State – Khorasan Province (“IS-K”) and to deprioritize other aspects of the investigation, it deems necessary for the Office of the Prosecutor to take into consideration its previous findings in the situation of Afghanistan comprehensively

and not merely limit its investigations to one party to the conflict or specific period of time. It is highly expected that those military forces who committed war crimes

in Afghanistan, should be responsible and go to justice. Moreover, it is equally significant that H.E. Mr. Khan commence the investigations in the situation of Palestine as well. It would be suitable that during the investigations to pay heed to Afghan and Palestinian points of view.”

Evidently the ICC has paid quite a bit of heed to that “point of view.”  You might say they have done it exclusively.

The Israelis, including Mr. Netanyahu of course, are said to be outraged.  And why not? 

NUREMBERG IN REVERSE

The ICC is essentially Nuremberg in reverse, with the good guys on trial and the bad guys running the court.. 

Fortunately for the indicted Israelis, they have not lost a war, as the Nazis did, and are free unless they go to specific countries that have signed on with the ICC. 

Unfortunately, 124 countries signed the Rome Statute (2000), the UN treaty making them part of the ICC.  These include “democratic paragons” like Venezuela and the Netherlands where Jews recently suffered a pogrom. It also includes, sadly, France and Japan and many other places one might want to visit were one a high Israeli official.

It’s unclear whether Netanyahu or Gallant would actually be arrested in those countries but the one of the world’s most fatuous blowhards,  Canada’s Justin Trudeau, has already announced he would abide by the decision of the ICC.  The full list of members is here. 

It does not include, thankfully, the United States of America.

The good news is that under President Trump it is even less likely to be.  You don’t have to be a rocket scientist… oh wait… maybe you do…  to guess that Messrs. Musk and Ramaswamy will be taking their economy size DOGE red pencil to the funds the United States contributes to the United Nations.

As many readers know, we are the organization’s biggest donor, $18 billion in 2022, roughly a third of the UN budget.

If you donate that much of an organization, not to mention providing them what is arguably the most valuable real estate on the planet, you should have some say in how they spend it, no?

None of this, however, negates the antisemitism that seems to be pervading the more “progressive” parts of the Democratic Party and their media allies.  Nevertheless, despite the attempts of one of their leaders, the ageing socialist Bernie Sanders, it was still only a small percentage of Congressmen and women who went along with his ugly desire to deny Israel the weapons to defend itself in a seven front war.

At least Mr. Sanders has done us the favor to show us exactly who his fellow creeps are.

In the spirit of DOGE, perhaps we can get them voted out and defunded—along with the ICC.

Better yet, line out the entire $18 billion and take over the East River real estate, turning it into the Trump UN — a hotel for (forcibly) retired dictators — that I recommended in a comic video for PJTV over 15 years ago.

U.S. sources cited in the Kan report said the president-elect and his advisers are currently mulling possible sanctions against the International Criminal Court, including punitive actions targeting not only ICC chief prosecutor Karim Khan, but also the ICC judges who signed off on the arrest warrants.”
